(#79) Perspective

Quite different than my normal captions. Can you still call it first person if it isn't from the perspective of a person?

(#78) Timid

Sometimes it takes a change of perspective to truly understand what is necessary.

High Voltage Announcement

I've mentioned in the past that I was working on a choose your own adventure story called High Voltage, in which an electrical accident causes a certain body swap. After developing part of the story in Wiki format, I've determined I now want the story to live here on this blog.

And since this is a caption blog, it wouldn't be any good for me to just dump a wall of text on you, so, I am porting the story over into caption format! Now, this is exciting, because I've only seen a small handful of choose your own adventure caption stories out their on the internet, and not a single one is on the scale of what is planned for High Voltage.

This is a massive undertaking, and although I have written a good chunk of the story, not all of it is prime captioning material. Some stuff works better in text than it does in pictures. Additionally I have a lot of clean up work to do to make the text captionable.

The Good News: I have already completed the entire first chapter in captions and it will be released here on the blog on August 22, 2015. The first chapter consists of 40 posts, most with multiple captions, that tell the first portion of the story. At the bottom of each post you will be presented with an option which gives you a clickable link to the next section of the story.

But that's in August! What will I do until then? Well, I hope you enjoyed the five days of flag-themed captions, but there is a whole lot more planned before August 22nd! In fact, Tomorrow is the likely conclusion to the Charlotte series of captions. Then there will be another steady stream of captions every other day throughout July and into August. First week of August begins with another Seven Part Caption Series, similar to the Odessa storyline last month.

I thank you for checking out my site, and I hope you enjoy reading the captions as much as I enjoy creating them. I've got a lot of things planned for you, so please continue to swing by, and I'll continue to share my lustful thoughts with you. <3

(#68) Southern Belle

This caption requires a preface. I make my captions weeks or months in advance and schedule them. This way I can go a week without making captions and feel no pressure to keep up with the blog. This caption was made well in advance of the Charleston church shooting, and it is a 100% coincidence that it is released today, the day after SC bored to remove the confederate flag from their state capitol. I do not support a single thing this flag stands for, and the acts committed while this flag were waved are atrocious. I simply ran across a bunch of confederate flag pictures while searching for American flag pictures for the previous few days of captions. I still have other pictures saved, perhaps they will go unused forever. I don't know.

The previous little catchphrase I had here was too lighthearted to match this caption and all the new connotations that come with using this flag. I am pleased with the SC decision and hope this sort of forward progress continues. The caption is available for you to view if that is something you would like to do. If not, it is understandable.

With love,

(#65) First World Problems

As Americans prepare to celebrate our independence day, let's remember how good we have it. What might someone give up to become an American?
