(#263) Synthetic

This caption was made for Jay Seaver at the haven.

This isn't a typical caption. I can't think of any captions off the top of my head where the guy's consciousness is transferred to that of a female robot. I guess the closest thing I can think of is a fiction story, where a guy continuously makes clones of himself (some female) and since each has a distinct consciousness, they all assume that they are the original.

In this story, Jay's brain is scanned, and essentially becomes a save file of his brain at that particular time. It is assumed that Jay went on to live his life, completely ignorant of the fact that his brain was scanned way back when. Until, sometime long in the future, after real Jay is dead, some researcher uncovers the file and attempts to load it into a robot. From the robot's perspective, no time has passed. It's like when you save your game of Sim City, then unleash all the disasters. When you reload the game, its like none of that ever happened. You can load your game on any computer you want. The save file is still going to be the same.

Anyway, this was a fun caption to make since it was different. Maybe I'll do something along a similar vein in the future.
