At the beginning of Chapter 3, there were a few different options. You could have went on a date with Jake the bartender (available to everyone who decided not to quit their jobs), you could have went to the Gamma party (available only to those who embraced the feminine aspects of their new life), or you could have stayed home to work on the device (available to all paths).
Unsurprisingly, it seems like you were interested in the more fun options:
Date with Jake.......24%
Work on Device.....19%
For those of you who went to the Gamma Party, it was all fun and games, or so you thought. The beer flowed freely and if you separated yourself from Sarah, you may have found out how a frat house treats a girl by herself... Whether you played beer pong, smoked weed, or drank in the kitchen, many of the paths lead to the same place.
Had fun and made it home safely.....22%
Got raped on the upstairs balcony...22%
Had sex with John..............................8%
Had sex with John and Sarah............5%
Unfortunately, a good many of you fell for the charms of the mysterious man on the couch, or perhaps you were to drunk or high to really help yourself. I think that path is going to be one of the more interesting ones to write as we have to come through how you deal with it. Many of you ended up passed out on the front lawn for Sarah to bring home. If only you kept it together maybe you could have been among the 5% who managed to participate in a foursome with Sarah. But, I guess that's why you can always try again!
A good amount of you chose to go on a date with Jake. I suspect this is a result of you meeting Jake at work and making plans with him immediately since you didn't know what else was in store. The most surprising thing about this was how many of you actually seemed to have a good date with him. I thought I had tried to make it difficult for this to go well, but this could be one of those instances were you kept going back for a different result.
Date with Jake went well............19%
Date with Jake went poorly..........5%
This was one of those opportunities to jump from the "resist femininity" to the "embrace femininity" path if the date went well, and for most of you, it did. For the 19% of you, there will surely be more of Jake in your future.
And finally we have those diligent few who are determined to create the device that will reverse this condition! More of you got taken advantage of at the Gamma Party than decided to play it safe and stay home. I can't say I'm surprised.
For those who have already embraced their feminine side
Device is nearly complete..................................7%
Bought the parts but had sex with Hannah........6%
For those who have yet to embrace their feminine side
Bought the parts but had sex with Hannah...........3%
Device is nearly complete.....................................2%
Sucked a dick, but the device is complete............1%
Your lesbian roommate was just a little too much to resist? Wasn't she? Well the good news is that 10% of you have nearly completed the device, or have actually completed it. Which means for some of you, maybe this will be nothing more than a bad dream.
So, when can you expect Chapter 4?
I am expecting Chapter 4 to be short. It is going to combine and condense some similar chapters and lay the groundwork for Chapter 5, which will be the Bachelorette party. Maybe sometime in September or October!

This caption is called Chicks with Sticks. Take note: it is not called Chicks with Bricks, or Chicks with Tricks, or Chicks with Dicks! It's about field hockey! There isn't any sort of double entendre thing going on.

Hooray! The Olympics start today! The opening ceremony is always a little dull when you have to watch 10,500 athletes walk into a stadium, but it is still quite the spectacle!

That's right! I'm sure you all loved the #30days30captions event in June. I know that you are looking forward to more daily captions events! Who doesn't?
For a little over two weeks, I will feature daily Olympic-themed captions right here, on Erin's Lustful Thoughts. The Olympic-themed captions will begin on Friday, so tomorrow's regularly scheduled caption won't be Olympic-themed.

Whoo-hoo! Half a million views! It was early March when we hit 250k, and 100k came back in November. Although it is now early August, the 500,000th view came on 7/30/16. I'm sure those numbers aren't the reason you come here. You didn't spend all that time getting pretty to come here and just listen to me talk about numbers! Numbers are boring!
Truthfully, I haven't really been blogging here that much. That's the beauty of scheduled postings: I can work really hard for a few weeks or months and then do absolutely nothing for the rest of the time and just watch as you enjoy the captions I make. I'd like to say the past few months have been just me chilling by the pool in a bikini, but in truth, I've had to pull up my big girl pants and handle some responsibilities. I've also spent a lot of time by the pool hanging out in a bikini. But doing either of those things involve me not captioning, or not actively captioning anyway. It doesn't mean I plan on stopping, it just means I'm far enough ahead to take the rest of the summer off so I can spend even more time chilling by the pool.
Anyway, I know the only reason you click these posts is to see what everyone else thinks is the most popular, so before I get to that, I'll quickly lay out where the blog is going for the next few months.
- Daily captions for the Rio Olympics, starting later this week! I made all of these before Zika was a thing, and when it still seemed like Brazil would get their act together in time. Optimism...
- Daily captions around Halloween time. One of them is Pokemon-themed, but it doesn't discuss Pokemon Go at all... Are all of my captions destined to be perpetually out of time?
- Only one US election themed caption. I wrote this one before the primaries were complete, but it did predict the winner of the party it discusses. Will it also predict the actual Presidential winner? I sure hope not... Really left with some rotten choices this year!
- Four new captions in the Lacey series. It's an old series from May/July of 2015.
- In honor of Transgender Awareness Week, daily captions featuring confessions.
- Thanksgiving and Christmas captions.
So now on to the captions! So there are going to be three groupings:
- The top five captions (based on Blogger views) since hitting 250,000 views back in March.
- The top five captions (based on Blogger views) overall.
- The top five captions (based on tumblr likes/reblogs) overall.
The top five captions since hitting 250,000 views
Based on these captions, it's pretty obvious that you really enjoyed Prom week, as 3 of the 5 captions come from there...
(#212) Afterwards, 1600+ views
(#210) Insight, 1600+ views
(#214) Should I Stay or Should I Go?, 1300+ views
(#190) The Mother, 1300+ views
(#211) Glimmer of Hope, 1300+ views
The top 5 captions overall
This list is actually the same list (slightly different order) that was posted at 250,000 views. It makes some sense since these captions already had a lot of views, and then that post directed even more attention to them.
(#105) Big Hopes, 3300+ views
(#138) New Rules, 2200+ views
(#127) Anticipation, 2100+ views
(#158) Ten Seconds, 2100+ views
(HV#001) High Voltage - The Beginning, 2000+ views
The top 5 tumblr posts
I think the most interesting thing about this list is that there is only one caption which overlaps. The tumblr crowd is very different, and I can't track views in the same way. I have over 1000 followers there (and less than 30 here) yet the engagement method is very different and I have noticed that different types of posts work best there. Generally ones with less text (presumably so it can easily be read in-app on a phone), but there are also some differences in content too. The blogger crowd (as well as the Haven), tend to like magical captions, while for the most part, the tumblr crew seems to like cross-dressing, realistic, forced feminization type stuff.
(#135) Wager, 80+ tumblr notes, 1500+ tumblr views
(#198) Immersive, 60+ tumblr notes, <1000 blogger views
(#139) Admirer, 60+ tumblr notes, 1400+ blogger views
(#256) The Stage, 60+ tumblr notes, <1000 blogger views
(#222) Jogging, 40+ tumblr notes, <1000 blogger views
(#177) Love, 30+ tumblr notes, <1000 blogger views
See you at a million!
