Countdown to 500 - Day 5

It's the last day of the countdown. The 500th caption will be here tomorrow!!! This is exciting! All week we've been counting together, and we are almost done! Today, we look at captions 400-499.

My Top 3
So, I've picked three captions which didn't get enough love to fall into the other two categories. Hotel is a really fun story in my opinion, but I can't take all the credit. I've injected some TG themes into it and cleaned it up for length, but the concept of the story came from elsewhere. The Empty Restroom is a fun straight-forward tale of someone living and dealing with their two lives. Eden is probably my favorite caption of the three, and maybe one of my favorite captions overall. It's a fun rethinking of the Book of Genesis.

The top three captions below are listed numerically, not in order by views. The three captions that had the most views were significantly ahead of the others, and even though captions with numbers 400-499 have been posted from February to July, they all appear from the early months. Both The Curse and Brother have some explicit imagery, but The Curse is the only magical caption here. Brother and Inspection both tell tales of realistic forced feminization in one manner or another.

The three captions below are the most liked/reblogged captions that fell within #400-499. Two of them (Walk the Beach and Smooth) are both "Reasons" captions, which have done pretty well over there. Walk the Beach may actually be my most loved caption on Tumblr (220+ notes), at least if it wasn't for a few tumblr specific captions which I made recently. More on those below.

Most Popular on Tumblr (Part 2)
Part of the reason I started the "Reasons" captions was to burn through some images that I've had for a long time. I want to keep my stockpile smaller so it's easier to manage, but I also want the images in there to be "captionable." If I've been staring at the same image for two years and nothing good has come to me, then it's time to move on and start looking at some new images.

So what I decided to do was make a few tumblr specific captions. I made them in the style that is popular over there, and, well, they responded in kind. The most popular of these captions received over 700 notes (and counting)! This type of response is not typical for the captions I produce, so it's been really fun to see my work spread across as more and more people reblog it. Additionally, its brought a bunch of new followers to my blog so they can see the more traditional work I do too. These captions will be posted here in a few weeks as "Tumblr Grab Bag #1", but here are the three most popular captions, in order by popularity.

And that's it! You've relived the best moments of the past, now it is time to look forward, and see what the next 500 captions have in store!
